just a flick of yellow light like the sunrise

Although yesterday started off pretty badly, it took a wonderful turn for the better. Here is an outfit post (hopefully i will only get better at doing this) followed by some fun with friends.

i'm wondering if mustard tights is too much, i have a love of all things yellow. but maybe it's crossing the line to wear these around all day everyday.

upon closer examination, it seems only natural for me to get the yellow tights, i'll just wear it with a lot of black and heather gray. i'll keep posted as i have two shipments from Christmas coming in this week.

I have been listening to Metric for a long while now, in the winter i usually switch it up and listen to Emily Haines (the lead vocalist) solo work. She is amazing lyrical and the band in general is extraordinary.  I've had this song stuck in my head since last night, i'm sure others will enjoy it.

I don't want a lot for Christmas

It's been to say the least, a very intense and hectic week. Some how in it all i managed to pick up these cowboy boots in grey.

I've only worn them once in what i can say is honestly an outfit i wont be repeating, but i'll feature them next week. As Christmas equals family and a new camera! which is exactly what this girls needs :)

I'm a huge fan of postsecret. If you are unaware of that wondeful site, its a community where people can send postcards of thier secrets via mail. Due to its popularity of the website, its also several books! I read the site  every sunday and i always have a favorite one of the week. Sometimes because it speaks to me, sometimes because i wish it would speak to me and sometimes i generally think its a good secret. here is my favorite from this sunday:
