i'm currently knee deep in mags dated Jan until current looking for the shoes i fell in love w/ and decided not to cut out! lesson learned, if you see something that you want for spring in a mag, rip the page out! Some call it magazine abuse but i don't have the same love for mags as i do for books so i think they can take the pain. One of these mags hold the shoes and i'm determined to find it!

EDIT: Never found the mag, looking for similar shoes now :(

So after careful consideration i decided to quit the remix... i thought today would be a great day as the rest of the remixers are wrapping there 30 up. I'm not going to take this as a lost because i did learn a lot of things and this was the first time i followed several different bloggers who all have a variety of styles. For the spring remix i definitely plan to utilize my prints a lot more. As a first time remixer  i went the safe route and picked all very plain items and neutral colors. Nonetheless this is my final outfit! very librarian; lol.

watching the oscars last night made me realize i have seen a great deal of movies this year. I've definitely utilized netflix and the theater a great deal. I have been more open to a wide variety of films. I'm sure this will continue so i'll be touching on that more as well as the nutty novels i've been reading.

Its been grey and nasty out for sometime now and today is the first sunny day! It's still only 27 degrees but i'll take the sun any which way i can get it. Off to play!

The rate i'm going with this remix i should be done by April :) If things were settled and in place i'm sure this wouldn't be a problem. I envy people like Emily who can travel and have a few suitcases instead of a whole closet. Even with just 30 items to chose from i still have trouble dressing myself! i imagine it will get easier. 

Needing new inspiration for crafts i took a trip to the lobby of hobby today; i didn't find any one thing that stuck out to me but possibly an easier way to go about these multi stone rings. I'll keep you posted on that progress. Have a good night!

I know what you are thinking, girl where are your tights!! Lucky for me we have been having the best weather here the past few days. Yesterday it was in the 60's! so nice. I hear there is a snow storm coming on Sunday but i'm just going to pretend i don't know that. I liked this outfit but immediately changed into my other 30x30 high waisted jean skirt when i got home. It's just a better fit when you have lots of layers to tuck under it. My mood is so in tune with the weather, i have been able to be a lot more creative lately and will showcase some of my hairpieces soon. I'm also working on making wire rings with stones. Oh so fun, i love being crafty. Ok i'm going to head back to it. Have a good one! :)

I realize there is a lot of opinions about this movie, some people who think its crap and some like me who think it was amazing. I have a rule, if a movie can make me feel and get me completely out of myself; its a winner. Natalie was amazing in this film, but what i loved immensely were the costumes that went along with it. Here is a behind the scenes for the costumes, definitely worth a look.

This weeks secrets i may have written and sent in in my sleep, just kidding! it's comforting to know that someone out there somewhere is feeling exactly like you. :)

i'm all moved in and trying to get things sorted (slow process). the preparation for the 30 for 30 remix is making me attack my closet first; which is good. i just donated two bags of clothes to the salvation army before i moved and i think i can donate another one; where do all these clothes come from! nonetheless it will be wonderful to take a break from shopping for a month. ok, i've got a glass of wine to finish and another box to unpack before this night comes to a close. have a good night!

Oh, ASOS I believe this is going to be a start of a beautiful relationship.  Sadly, i promised myself, god and my bank account that i would not shop for any clothing until i move, get situated and complete a 30 for 30. However picking out thirty items to wear isn't as easy as Kendi makes it look. Maybe these few sale items will be perfect to go in my 30 for 30 remix.

Clearly these pieces will be the easiest things to mix! just look at the pink dress! i can think of.... two ways to wear it.... i might have to rethink this. Nonetheless i'm getting all packed up, donating old clothes and looking forward to beginning remixing.
