This weeks secrets i may have written and sent in in my sleep, just kidding! it's comforting to know that someone out there somewhere is feeling exactly like you. :)

i'm all moved in and trying to get things sorted (slow process). the preparation for the 30 for 30 remix is making me attack my closet first; which is good. i just donated two bags of clothes to the salvation army before i moved and i think i can donate another one; where do all these clothes come from! nonetheless it will be wonderful to take a break from shopping for a month. ok, i've got a glass of wine to finish and another box to unpack before this night comes to a close. have a good night!

Oh, ASOS I believe this is going to be a start of a beautiful relationship.  Sadly, i promised myself, god and my bank account that i would not shop for any clothing until i move, get situated and complete a 30 for 30. However picking out thirty items to wear isn't as easy as Kendi makes it look. Maybe these few sale items will be perfect to go in my 30 for 30 remix.

Clearly these pieces will be the easiest things to mix! just look at the pink dress! i can think of.... two ways to wear it.... i might have to rethink this. Nonetheless i'm getting all packed up, donating old clothes and looking forward to beginning remixing.

JEWELMINT

I'm currently addicted to cute nicely priced slightly gaudy jewelry and if not gaudy then i make sure to put on far more pieces then needed. I like to jingle when i walk :)

Lucky for me i'm also subscribe to way more magazines then needed and can usually find good deals that way. I ordered this adorable bracelet for a friend and these rings for myself.

I'm usually not the type of person who likes to sign up for monthly (designs in mail) things. Where some designer pics a piece for you each month and you just have to deal with their choice; even if you dislike it. However, if these pieces end up being as charming in person as they are in the magazine i just might sign up.

Sunday Secret

Sadly i was not feeling connected to any of the secrets revealed today on Postsecret. Don't worry i archive favorites!

Although i have been in the best  mood for some time now; i still have been feeling exactly like this secret.

i had the best day with you

20+ hours on the road, i passed more mile markers then i can remember and i still can't get that girl i don't know out of my mind. Laughing on the car ride with my bff, embarrassingly relaying the drunken texts i should have never sent (from memory of course, you just can't keep that stuff on file). And a lesson was learned.

I met and surrounded myself with some amazing people. I wrote countless words into various notebooks that i pray i will do something real with. I pictured life with a whole new group to love. i pictured life with the same group i just had six months ago, all of us intact. i missed and cried for him more then once; which is something i imagine i will be doing for a lifetime.

i picked up two books for 2011 and i am almost finished with my full list of books i have read in 2010 (post to come). I finally found the perfect planner so 2011 can actually begin. Now that i feel my head is in a much better place, i am very much looking forward to it. I had quite the productive trip :)

Doesn't this just take you back to your high school counselors office?!, maybe it was just in my school but this lady had every motivational print in existence. Come to think of it, it was probably for protection  it was a bit of a rough school :)

i have been in bed for the better part of 2011, self loathing and pissing a large number of people in my life off. I couldn't tell you why, but what i do know is -- i'm sick of apologizing. 2011 will be the year of no apologies.

first goodies of the new year

Yesterday while i was attempting to pick out a planner/organizer at target, in preparation for  2011. I was very upset to not find one; i have three planner must haves:

1. Must be hardbound or not have spiral exposed. 
2. Must have Cute print that is NOT white (or it will instantly get dirty).
3. Must have month view and week view both.

Simple! except i couldn't find one in the sea of target planners that fit the above descriptions. I got so upset i had to buy a new purse and wallet.  Usually i would feel bad for such an impulse purchase, but these gems together cost me less then twenty dollars! so i feel like i win. Unfortunately since i never ended up buying a planner i have no idea what i;m doing for the rest of 2011. Which sounds like a good  new years resolution to me, be more spontaneous :)
